To help provide a safe and welcoming environment for every child, all Transfiguration volunteers who interact with children must complete the Archdiocese's Essential 3 requirements. These include a background check, VIRTUS training, and a signed Code of Conduct. Background checks and VIRTUS training must be renewed every three years. This requirement applies to all adults who volunteer with students, including classroom helpers, one-on-one volunteers, Family Formation volunteers, field trip chaperones, party and event volunteers, and anyone participating in school activities involving children.
