Parish Groups

We have Women's Nights throughout the year where all women, including non-members, are welcome to come enjoy food and drinks, socialize and meet new friends, participate in an activity or craft, and partake in spiritual reflection. If you would like to help plan these events, please call the parish office at 651-738-2646.

Our Mission Statement:
With a special devotion to Mary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the mission of the Transfiguration Women's Group is to glorify God by supporting the Parish through volunteer service and ministry, and by promoting friendship and unity among parish women and the community through spiritual, social and educational activities.

“Walking with Purpose” is a nationally acclaimed Women’s Bible Study program. Walking with Purpose endeavors to meet women where they are, giving them practical Biblical teaching that is consistent with Church doctrine and uses the Catechism of the Catholic Church as an additional resource.

Walking with Purpose aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering personal study and small group discussion that link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.

Walking with Purpose has three elements: at-home study, weekly small group meetings, and a monthly talk on relevant course material. The program has over 653 parishes involved in the United States, Europe and Canada and has helped thousands of women grow closer to Christ.
