Baptism Preparation
The first step to having your child receive the Sacrament of Baptism at Transfiguration is to call the Parish Office at 651-738-2646 for more information and to schedule your child’s Baptism. Our Baptism preparation sessions for the parents are held regularly, and you will be invited to join us at an upcoming session.
Baptisms at Transfiguration are celebrated the second and fourth weekend of every month following the Saturday 4:00 p.m. Mass or Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass, with the exception of Holy Days.
Adults wishing to receive the Sacrament of Baptism participate in the OCIA program.

First Reconciliation &
First CommunionA preparation program for First Reconciliation and First Communion is offered to help parents and children (usually second graders) before celebrating the Sacraments.
Transfiguration School Children in Grade 2 are automatically registered and receive instruction in the school.
Non-school students will have Wednesday evening classes according to the calendar attached below. Parents are expected to attend a limited number of these evenings and will join other Faith Formation parents for appropriate content and fellowship.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation for all will be celebrated in January and First Communion for all will be received in spring.

Confirmation Preparation
The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the grace of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism & First Holy Communion) by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for full, active participation in the worship and life of the Church.
Confirmation preparation at Transfiguration is a one-year program in 8th grade. Students prepare either in our School or through our Confirmation program, beginning in the fall and conclude with the sacrament of Confirmation in the spring.

Marriage Preparation
For those wishing to be married at Transfiguration, please contact the Parish Office at least six months prior to the desired date of the ceremony. Once you have contacted the Office, a tentative date will be reserved and a meeting will be scheduled with our Pastor. At this initial meeting with the Pastor, your ceremony date will be confirmed and you will receive the information needed to prepare for the Sacrament.

Anointing of the SickThe Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing that helps us along life's journey. Parishioners of Transfiguration can arrange to receive the sacrament for themselves or another registered parishioner by calling the Parish office at 651-738-2646 and scheduling an appointment with Fr. Meyers.
If the Anointing is needed in an emergency, parishioners or their loved ones can call the emergency line at 651-501-2250.
